About our Church
Saint Kitts and Nevis is a two-island independent nation in the Caribbean. With rolling rainforested mountains and white-sand beaches, St. Kitts is 23 miles long and 5 miles across at its widest point. John Newton, the former slave-ship captain who turned preacher, was inspired off these very shores to write Amazing Grace. It is here, in 1963, where Antioch Baptist Church was initially founded, now serving in the capital of Basseterre.
Mission and Vision
Antioch Baptist Church exists to glorify Christ by knowing Him and making Him known. Our vision is to “invest all available resources to build people in God and for God.”
Ministries
We invite all to gather with us for Biblical teaching, authentic and compelling worship, and to celebrate the greatness of God in everyday life. As we strive to be His light in our community, we love to reach out to youth and encourage them with special programs. We offer men’s and women’s ministries, host a variety of conferences, support our local authorities such as fire and rescue, and we passionately share our rhythmic, percussion-inspired music that expresses the joy of our salvation in Jesus. All are welcome here!
